I have had some laptop issues, however I have a new one now, so I am back to full working order....well as much as I ever was anyway lol

The East Wind not only has Blog Challenges, but has Facebook challenges as well.

The East Wind digital images are designed to bring out he 'quirkiness' in people.

Unky, the artist an owner of The East Wind', has made a promise to draw new releases for every Monday and Friday.....she ha given herself a lot of hard work in this promise!!!

At The East Wind, we love ALL kind of crafting styles, but the quirkier the better haha

 

The East Wind are also very generous. For fans and supporters who are signed up for The East Wind's news letter, they will get a freebie image with the news letter once a month..... how fabulous is that???

 

As it is Friday, that means a brand new image release. Todays release is called 'Bundled Up' and part of the Unky Toon Collection, but it isn't anything like what you imaging the title suggests.

Here is what I have made using this image.....I made the mistake of trying to put a chin etc on the image.....but ever mind, its still a cute image hahah

 

 

 

 

 

I think I might have gone a bit OTT on the pearl embellishments, but I love them and I think they add that extra to the card.

The Image has been coloured using pencils and the outside has been distressed using Tim Holtz distress ink.

Left Of Centre Celebration - 30th March

As most of you will have seen from my previous posts, Left Of Centre Creative Challenges Blog is Celebrating their 1st Birthday.

As I said, we are very lucky to have a list like that!!!!


For this make, I have used an image from the amazing MelJen Designs.

 

The image I have used is called 'Miss Fancy Cat' and was one of the images used for the 'Cute Vs Creepy' Challenge.

Here is what I have made......

 

 

The papers are from a summer paper pad from my stock, but I have lost the front cover somewhere along the line.

The matting is pink glossy card, and the ribbon and charm is again from my stash.  

 

I coloured this image with my spectrum noir pens. I used the dotting technique for the fur, to give is a textured look. I glossy accented the glasses and used tiny pearls for the hat and necklace.

 

 The sentiments are done with pink heat set embossing powder. I finished them card off with some faux stitching, ribbon and card candi.

 

 

I think this is a dark but fun card. I really had fun making this.
