Left Of Centre Challenge #121

Welcome back fellow bloggers, crafters and friends.
I hope you have all been keeping warm and toasty in this awfully cold weather...

Today sees the start of a new weekly challenge over on the Left Of Centre Creative Challenges Blog.

Challenge #121 is 'Faux or Real Stitching' and is sponsored by two amazing sponsors -

Star Stampz

All Dressed Up

Here is what I have made -

I used a gorgeous image from Star Stampz and coloured her with my Rangers Distress Markers and a thin koy water brush.
The papers are both from 'Limited Edition' paper pads and mounted on pink card.
I used my silhouette to cut the topper, leaves, flowers and swirls.
A thin pink ink pen was used to add the faux stitching around the topper and the top paper layer.
This was finished off with dark teal pearls which match the colour of the teapot in the image.

I would like to enter my make into the following challenges -

Crafting with an attitude - Anything Goes
Crafty Girl Creations - Anything Goes #16
Doodle Pantry - Anything Goes
Alphabet Challenge - A is for Anything Pink
ArtByMiran - Anything Goes

I hope this has inspired you to get your sewing kits out, or your pens to create some stitching/faux stitching in order to join in with our wonderful weekly challenge.
We always have wonderful images for the winner.

Hello & Left Of Centre Challenge 117

Well Hello Fellow Crafters, Bloggers and Friends.
WOW it has been a long time. I will not dwell on why I have had the long break, those that know me will know that my mother passed away in October last year.

I am now back to crafting......Slowly......and was kindly allowed back onto the Left Of Centre Creative Challenges Blog.

Today see's the start of a brand new Challenge #117 - Love, which is being sponsored by Ching Chou Kuik, and will run for a week.

I have used the gorgeous image called 'Lil Bookworm Fairy'

and coloured her with Faber-Castel Colouring Pencils.
The shapes and sentiment are all done on my Silhouette Cameo.
I have used a Wink of Stella glitter pen to add some sparkle around the fairy.

Here is what I made.......

I hope you will pop over and join us for this challenge. As long as the entry fits either the challenge theme 'Love', or 'Left of Centre' then you are welcome to enter anything you like.

Left Of Centre Challenge #61

Welcome beautiful bloggers, crafters and lookers. I love every single visit I get, and love it even more if you would kindly leave a comment.

Today see's the start of Challenge #61 over on the Left Of Centre Challenge Blog.
Left Of Centre also have a Facebook Group to showcase your challenge entries etc...

This Weeks challenge is sponsored by OddBall Art

The Image I chose to use is 'Valentine Giraffe'

The Left Of Centre Challenge Blog isn't only for dark, punky, gothic, quirky or steampunk makes etc.....It is also for normal makes, as long as they fit with the theme.
If you do choose to use a Left Of Centre make, then you do not need to follow the theme, just make something that fits the kinda designs that are classed as Left Of Centre.

This Weeks theme is 'Animal Instincts'.

I chose to make something that is normal and not Left Of Centre....

I coloured the image with my pencils and the rest is all cut out using my silhouette cameo, which I am totally addicted too.
The backing has the hearts cut out and then hearts of a different colour glued into the holes.
I finished off using a white rangers pen to add the faux stitching.

I hope you like this make and the image. I thought it was so sweet I couldn't help but use it.
I think this image would be great for both adults and children, depending how you use it.

I really hope you will pop over and join in the challenge, as well as join the facebook group.

Left Of Centre Challenge #36

I would firstly like to apologise to any of my Design Teams where I have missed a challenge.
As my facebook friends will know, I have been struggling a lot with my health.
I ended up back in hospital, so I am on strict orders to bed rest and not move about much.

Today see's the start of the new challenge over on the Left Of Centre Creative Challenges. This is challenge #36 and the theme is 'Add Some Sparkle'.

Do you like the new look Left Of Centre blog? Now we have gone weekly, we thought we should have a little change of decoration.

This weeks challenge is sponsored by the very brilliant Aurora Wings.

Aurora Wings do a great selection of images both cute and mysterious and can be used for normal or dark makes.

I chose to use the 'Shades of Blue' image. Shes gorgeous, detailed and offers lots of oppertunities to try different things.

Here is what I have made for this challenge.....

What I used.....

- Faber Castel Polychromatic colouring pencils
- Sparkle medium
- Sikhouette Cameo
- Kanban backing card
- Coredenations card stock
- Pearl spray
- White satin leaves
- White card candi covered in sparkle medium

I hope you like this card and all the sparkle!!

Thank you for visiting. I hopeyou will see that we accept all types of cafting, not just dark!

Left Of Centre - Challenge #34

Welcome to my crafty little heaven. Thank you so much for your visits and lovely comments.

******WARNING******

This blog post contains a gruesome card that might not be to many peoples tastes!

The Left Of Centre's current Challenge #34 is 'Use Something Metal'

This challenge is being sponsored by the wonderful Rick St Dennis.

This will sadly be the last fortnightly challenge from Left Of Centre Creative Challenges..... we are however going weekly woooohooooo
We will have two design teams. The teams will do alternative weeks challenges.

I haven't made a dark dark card for a while, so let my hair down......

Here is what I made using Rick St Dennis's SH Monster Nurse image.

My something metal is gilding flakes and metal stud caps.
The blood was made using re-inker and glossy accents.

Although this is gruesome,  I really like it. I hope you like it as well.....although I'm not sure many will lol

Many thanks for taking a look at my blog post
