It's Lelli-Bot Launch Day!!!!

Welcome to everyone who is taking the time to visit me...

Those of you who are friends with me on facebook, will know how excited I have been the last couple of weeks. I have been waiting for today for agessssssssss, OK OK two weeks, but it feels like ages!

This week, Lelli-Bots will be showcasing their first 4 collections. They will be showing a different collection each day.

Here is a little bit of information about Lelli-Bots, their products and information etc

It is finally here...... The launch of the Lelli-Bot Crafts first four Collections.
Sam Holliday has been working very hard behind the scenes to produce her own range of crafting goodies.
The kits are made with all levels of crafter in mind. The quality of the products is very high and the toppers are left uncoated, so people can distress, colour and ink them if they so wish.
The Embellishment Boxes are a stroke of genius. All you need, all colour coordinated and all in one box. You will get ribbons, sequins, charms, flowers, gems etc. to decorate your Lelli-Bot makes.

Lelli-Bot Crafts has:

A Website - www.lellibotcrafts.co.uk
A Blog -  http://lelli-bot.blogspot.co.uk/

So, at the start of this week I received a BIG box of goodies from Sam Holliday/Lelli-Bot Crafts. I ripped the box open, even though Sam had used a whole roll of packing tape on it!!!
I was absolutely amazed at what was inside. There were smaller boxes, gorgeously packed toppers and 6"x6" papers and packs of the most gorgeously selected card stock.
I was expecting an A4 topper sheet but NO, I actually got a pack with the toppers already popped out, and containing the matching papers. This had a huge impact straight away as I had not seen toppers and papers packaged like this before.
I took my time looking through all the packs of toppers and papers, taking in the feel of the card and paper, the images and the gorgeous colours. I then wanted to see what was in these boxes.... I opened the first one and was met with delicate tissue paper wrapped around a stunning selection of ribbons, cords, sequin strings, charms, ribbon roses, gems, shaped embellishments and so much more.....everything all matching colours to work perfectly together. Again, this is something I hadn't seen before. Yes, other companies do matching embellishments. However, they sell them in a pack of ribbons, a pack of brads, a pack of gems etc and the price mounts up. This was all that you needed to be able to sit down and make a card and all you needed to contribute from your stash is glue.

Needless to say, I had to start making right away, and here is what I made.....

Gothic Grunge Kit

(Skull and swirl diecuts are cut from card from the card pack. The back and red gems are from my own stash, everything else used is from the kit).

(Red and black pearls and the door hanger base are from my own stash, everything else used is from the kit).

Radiant Butterflies

(Diecuts are cut from card in the card pack. The flat backed gems/pearls are from my own stash, everything else used is from the kit).

(Diecuts are cut from card in the card pack. Some of the flat backed gems/pearls are from my own stash, everything else used is from the kit).

Fantasy Fairies

(A3 Card used to make the box is from my own stash. The pearl sprays, gold feather and ribbon is from my own stash, everything else used is from the kit).

(Diecuts are cut from card in the card pack. The flowers, leaves and pearl sprays are from my own stash, everything else used is from the kit).

Pure Elegance

(Diecuts are cut from card in the card pack. The flat backed pearls and glitter is from my own stash, everything else used is from the kit).

(Diecuts are cut from card in the card pack. Some of the flat backed gems, pearls and embellishments, as well as the silver feather are from my own stash, everything else used is from the kit).

The only Items I have added from my own stash are, some extra card/paper, flat backed gems, different coloured feathers and some other small embellishments.
There is more than enough in the kits to site down and make cards from all the toppers, without having to add anything of your own.
If you would like more details on how I made these, please ask.

I hope you love these products as much as I do.

Here is what I have made......

The papers are from a summer paper pad from my stock, but I have lost the front cover somewhere along the line.
The matting is pink glossy card, and the ribbon and charm is again from my stash.

I coloured this image with my spectrum noir pens. I used the dotting technique for the fur, to give is a textured look. I glossy accented the glasses and used tiny pearls for the hat and necklace.

The sentiments are done with pink heat set embossing powder. I finished them card off with some faux stitching, ribbon and card candi.

I think this is a dark but fun card. I really had fun making this.
I hope you will pop over to the Left Of Centre Creative Challenges Challenge Blog, and join in the Birthday Event, as well as the current Challenge.

Thank you for your wonderful comments.

Here is what I have made......

The image is coloured with a mix of spectrum noir pens and WHSmiths colouring pencils.
I added red glitter to the hearts, eyelids and flecks in the hair.
The image is backed with black card and red mirriboard.

The backing is ripped silver pearlised paper, stuck onto black card. This was trimmed and also mounted onto red mirriboard.

I did a multi wiggle line around the image with black pen. I then did the same, but with white pen, on the backing.

To finish off, I wrote the sentiment in glue and glittered it, then added red gem hearts.

I think this is a dark but fun card. I really had fun making this.
I hope you will pop over to the Left Of Centre Creative Challenges Challenge Blog, and join in the Birthday Event, as well as the current Challenge.

Right....Down to what I have made for Challenge #27 - Favourite Book

I haven't got a specific favourite book, however I love Zombie books and films....To the point of being addicted to them. This make is to depict Zombie books in general...

The backing image is 'The Dark Forest', and the main image is 'I'm Ba-aack!'. I coloured them both with WHSmiths colouring pencils.

The backing paper is from M&Co and I used a distress stamp along the side edges, and then a distressing tool on all of the layers. I sprayed with distressing ink and did a page rip and curled the edges.

The backing I sprayed with red mica powder mixed with red distressing ink and a bit of water. I wanted the look of sprayed blood.

The sentiment is stamped with wooden peg alphabet stamps and sprayed with the same spray as the backing image.
I finished off with metal caps in the corner of the sentiment and backing image.

I hope you will pop over to the Left Of Centre Creative Challenges Blog to join in with this great challenge, and the exciting month long 1 year Birthday Celebrations.

Thank you for your wonderful visits and comments

Exciting News!!!!

Welcome fellow bloggers, crafters and friends......

I have been wanting to share my news for a while, but couldn't..... well now I can YAY

As my followers will know. In February,  I applied to join the PunkYouGirl Design Team. Well, I wasn't successful......

YEAH I WAS!!!!!!!

Wooooohoooooo <<does happy dance>>

PunkYouGirl is a monthly Dark Themed Challenge Blog. We have some amazing sponsors and amazing prizes.....
We are dark themed, so want to see all your dark themed entries.

This months prize is provided by one of our wonderful DT Kim

This month, we were allowed to run free and use anything we wanted, as there was no specific sponsor.

The theme is Fairytale Gone Bad

Now, this had me stumped, mainly due to me being thick and not knowing disney stories were mostly fairytales!!! Doh

I had an idea in my head so set about searching all the digi pages looking for the perfect image.... two hours later, nothing.
Now, don't laugh, but I decided to draw my own image!!!

Here is what I made....

The backing image is from the wonderful Delicious Doodles. I coloured this, and the main image, with my WHSmiths colouring pencils.

The image I drew, using lots ot tutorial posts on pinterest. I wanted an evil Little Red Riding Hood,  so made her into a vampire!
I drew her in pencil, then inked over and scanned her so I could change the size... (if you want a copy of the image, please just comment with your email).

I was stuck for how to get good blood, so I asked the goddess of darkness Helen aka Crom's Cubby Hole. Helen told me that nail varnish makes great blood and to get the right look 'imagine eating a messy yogurt, and where the yogurt would go if you spilt it' (not verbatim lol).
I'm not sure I got it quite right, but she certainly looks messy with blood lol Thanks Helen, you are a total star ★★★★★

I finished by distressing and tearing the edges, black metal mini candi, black peeloffs for the sentiment and red backing card.

Well, this is my first DT post for PunkYouGirl, as well as my first ever hand drawn image!!

I hope you will pop over and join in with the challenge.....embrace your dark side and have fun!!!!

Thank you, as always, for you visits and support.

Now is time for the mid-month inspiration for Just For Fun Challenge Blog.

There is no excuse not to join in this month as the theme is "ANYTHING GOES"....what could be easier than that????

I forgot that anything goes, could mean ANYTHING....and wasted an opportunity to make something other than a card.... silly me!!!

Here is what I made....

I started with a Dilly Beans image, which I coloured with water colour pencils and a koi water brush.
I used spellbinders nestabilities to make all the diecut shapes. The backing paper is from my stash, and the embossed paper is embossed with a spellbinders embossing folder.

I made lots of diecut swirl roses and glued these with hot gluegun to get an instant stick.
The purple lace is glued down with spray glue and cut to match the edging shape, then I just layered everything up.

I think this image is so pretty, and love the layered look to her skirt, even if it is a pain to colour lol

I hope you will pop over to the Just For Fun Challenge Blog and join in with the Anything Goes theme...
