Our challenges will start on the 1st of the month, and an inspirational post midway throughout the month...
I used this gorgeous image 'BeachWagon' with no scenery

Here is what I made with it:

I really wanted to make something different and this image gave me the opportunity too. I kept looking at the image and I couldn't see it on a card in my head. I could however, see it on a wooden plaque with keys!!!!!

Here is my wooden key rack made with a MWLW image. The pins are copper to keep the theme of the rustic feel. I have coloured the image with polychromos Faber Castell pencils and then painted over with PVA glue to stick it to the plaque.
The plaque has a slight backing to it done with distress inks.
I have added twine and some keys to finish it off.

I hope you like this, and it shows you that you don't have to use these images just on cards.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges -

Crafting by Designs - Anything Goes
Crafty Gals Corner - Anything Goes
Inspiration Destination - Anything Goes

I really hope you have been inspired to visit Paolo's Etsy shop and join in with the challenge that will run for the month. Great My Whimsical Little World Images up for grabs as prizes!!!

ADD SOME SPARKLE!!

Here is the link to the Lelli-Bot Crafts Challenge Blog:

I decided to use the kit Gothic Lace', which was amongst the 3rd set of kits to be launched.
This kit is black and white and is gorgeous. It is perfect to add colour too, as well as to add lots of sparkle and gorgeousness....It is a very diverse kit that can be used for pretty and grungy cards and made as bright or as dark as you wanted.

Here is my inspirational make, and I hope you take inspiration from it....

The topper is covered in sparkle medium, however it is hard to see on photos. I hope you can see some of the sparkle.

The flowers were hand stamped on the backing sheet, then painted with mica paint and covered with a thin layer of sparkle medium.

I really hope you will come over to the challenge blog http://lellibotcraftchallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/?m=1 and join in with our challenges, and also become a follower...
