Blackboard Fridge Magnets

I was sent some wooden rectangles, painted them with two coats of blackboard paint (£3.50) from wilkinsons.

I have used a glue gun to add the embelishments to the blackboard surface.

They will be finished off with magnets on the back as well as a piece of chalk attached by black and white twine (haven't got the chalk yet).

These are very cheap and easy to make and I think would make cute little gifts for someone :-)

Experimenting with flowers

I have seen so many gorgeous cards with clusters of 3D flowers on them and always wished I could make cards like them.

This is my first experiment..... It was made for the daily challenge which was 'use material' which could be ribbon, actual material etc...

I have used plenty of diecuts and a stamp from my new unmounted set I purchased from eBay.

I have finished the card with card candi, gems and wired beads.

I hope you like my first flower experiment :-)

Bright Floral

Well, today has been one of them days. We all feel poorly in this house, even Winston. I went to bed at 3pm for a kip and woke up at 6:45pm lol

Today's challenge over on the craftymess group was 'florals' so this is what I made. All items, apart from the red card, diecut and sentiment, are from a Hot Off The Press pack I have but never used before.

cards and winston

Right, as well as looking after Winston, who is getting a 'big little man' now (little man is my pet name for him) and a cheeky little devil, I have had chance to make a couple of cards lol

Couple of bits :-)

Here's just a couple of bits I have made recently.

I haven't had a lot of time to craft as winston is a very playful dog and needs to be with you ALL the time lol I wouldn't mind, but he has started peeing inside as he doesn't like the cold! Lol
