Well yesterday I purchased some £1 hobbycraft stamps and I loved them so much that I went back today and got lots more :-)
I was worried that only being £1 they wouldn't be that great but they are amazing!!!
Right, onto my makes.....
My first card was for the craftymess Facebook groups daily challenge 'vintage'. I am happy to say that I won :-) :-)
I used a topped that the wonderful Sandra Wright sent me. I contrasted the black with Kraft card and toned the white and brown down with vintage photo distress ink.
The flowers were made by a new die that I ordered from eBay.
The second make was made with one of my new stamps 'camper van'. I stamped four and then coloured them with distress ink and painted some of the details with mica powder. Matted it on embossed card, black Matt card and white cars.
I matched card candi to the distress ink colours and for some fun I stuck matching coloured gems in the smaller headlights on the camper vans.
I went from a dark coloured card to a bright coloured card. I have to say that I love them both!!!
I had to put a pic up of some of my new stamps :-) needless to say, I will be returning for more lol
Thanks for reading and looking xxxx

Anyway, here are my black and white ATC's xxx

Birdie DT card
Well the time has come again for my CraftyMess DT project.
The theme over on the CraftyMess challenge blog is 'birds'.
We had some beautiful digital images to use from our wonderful sponsors (please visit our blog for a list of all our wonderful sponsors and visit their shops).
I coloured the image with simple colouring pencils and used as many different tones of each colour as I could to add some depth an shading.
I then made an easel card and used two different coloured and patterned papers to contrast each other.
I love this cars and just shows that I'd rather use a £1 pack of colouring pencils than my £200 spectrum noir pens sometimes lol

Please take a visit to the CraftyMess challenge blog for all DT projects and maybe even have a play with our challenge :-)

Flutterbies
Hope the weather is hot and sunny enough for you all :-)
I was growing my hair again but it was too hot hot hot so had it chopped off yesterday and it now feels cool and less sweaty. I will say that I LOVE my new hair!!
Last night I made a simple butterfly card with simple colours.
What I used:
1 x White DL card
1 x silver mirri cars
1 x White leather look card
3 x black and silver diecut butterflies
1 x black and silver diecut ribbon slider
1 x dark grey ribbon
Black glittery and silver glittery stickles from rangers
I hope you like this card as I tried to make it classy but still fun. I used the leather look card instead of an embossing folder as I wanted the main focus on the wonderful butterflies.
Thank you for looking :-) xxxx

Something different from me....
I am on a mission to use toppers that I haven't have the imagination to use before....
I have produced two cards today, which isn't bad seeing as I've had a banging headache all day!
One is a sewing theme which I think is 'too busy' but it was an experiment..... And the other is just a vintage looking one that I'm quite chuffed with how it turned out!
Thank you for looking and ALL feedback is more than welcome xxxx

Just 'Gorjuss'
Here are two 'Gorjuss' cards I made today.
One of them was my winning entry in the craftymess daily challenge. Today's theme was 'think pink'.
I shocked myself that I was allowed to run-a-mock with pink and I actually reigned myself in and didn't go OTT :-)
I hope you like these cards as I am really pleased with how they turned out xxx

Sun or Moon DT card
As you will know I have been a member of the 'craftymess challenge blog' DT for a while. Due to health reasons I had some time away from the blog but I am back now :-)
This is my first DT project since starting back. The theme was 'sun or moon'.
I chose to use a moon in my card and made this by punching out a circle with a punch and used versamark and clear embossing powder.
The image is a 'indigoBlu' stamp which I again used versamark and clear embossing powder, however I tried to make it look more dreamy so didn't put versamark on the entire stamp.
I made the background with four different coloured Tim Holtz distress inks and blending well. I sprayed water on my hands and flicked this over the paper to make stars. I then mixed up some gold mica and water and sprayed this over to give it a luster in the night sky.
I hope you like this and if it has inspired you to join in the challenge then please pop over and have a look at the craftymess challenge blog....
