Missing father
Thank you to all my crafty friends who took the time a few weeks ago to vote for my friend who lost her husband and left her alone with the kids.
Speaking to her today and she asked me if I could make her a fathers day card as she couldn't face going to a shop to search for an appropriate one.
This is my gift to her and I hope it is suitable for her. It bought tears to a few people's eyes who I showed.
RIP James and although what you did was very selfish, you will be forever missed by your beautiful wife and kids.

No sport allowed!
Well on this dull and wet day I had an early crafting start.
I sorted out all my toppers and found over 100 sheets of hunkydory toppers and 200 backing cards...whoopsie lol So what I am trying to say is....you will be seeing A LOT of hunkydory cards hahaha
Today's CraftyMess daily challenge was to make a card for a man but no sports themed cards and this includes racing cars etc.....
This is my entry!
I've left the greeting/sentiment very generic so it can be used for several different occasions.
Hope you like this card :-)
Oh oh oh.... Nearly forgot! I made some sneaky ATCs last night so I have also added a photo of my butterfly ATCs titled 'spread your wings'.

Doggy Lover
Well after my ATC session this morning I made my CraftyMess challenge card. The challenge was to make a card for a doggy lover.
The topper and bottom layer are from hunkydory. The second layer is embossed white card stock distressed with bundle sage and iced spruce Tim Holtz distress inks an mounted on gold mirricard.
I have used matching ribbon, mulberry flowers and gold card candi to finish the card off. Oh and not forgetting a few drops of glossy accents to bring the big puppy dog eyes and nose to life :-)

My new passion
I love my card making but I have found I love making ATC's just as much.
I am going to make three ATC's for every cars I make. I have plenty of crafty friends who love ATC's as well so they aren't gonna go to waste :-)
I have made two designs of ATCs today and made three of the 'time less' ones and four of the 'princess' ones. I make more than one of each design.
'timesless' - I embossed some brown pearlised card with a Tim Holtz time embossing folder. I then stamped a piece of card with some clock faces in brushed corduroy Tim Holtz distress ink. I stamped timeless over the top and then distressed the edges with vintage photo.
Mounted it all together and added a clock charm on hessian ribbon/twine.
'Princess' - used some pink textured card stock for the backing and the wording. I stamped princess and a crown over card with Tim Holtz distress ink and then distressed the edges with spun sugar ink.
Stamped princess on the same card as the backing and cut out the individual letters. Stuck these on with 1mm foam pads. Stamped a black crown above and added two silver card candi.
I am going to make a card later for the CraftyMess challenge which is 'a card for dog lovers'.
Hope you love this ATCs as much as I do xxx
