Hats off to The East Wind - Brand New Challenge

Welcome fellow Bloggers, Crafters, Friends and Anyone Else who has popped in for a look around.....

Today sees the release of a brand new image from 'The East Wind'.

Challenge Blog - http://www.theeastwind.com/

The East Wind not only has Blog Challenges, but has Facebook challenges as well.
The East Wind digital images are designed to bring out he 'quirkiness' in people.
Unky, the artist an owner of The East Wind', has made a promise to draw new releases for every Monday and Friday.....she ha given herself a lot of hard work in this promise!!!
At The East Wind, we love ALL kind of crafting styles, but the quirkier the better haha

The East Wind are also very generous. For fans and supporters who are signed up for The East Wind's news letter, they will get a freebie image with the news letter once a month..... how fabulous is that???

I am soooooo late with this post. The Challenge started on the 15th of February......
The theme of this challenge is
'TIP OF THE HAT'
Nice and easy theme.....Just means that what ever you make, must include a hat somewhere. This can be the actual make, on the image, as an embellishment or how ever else you can include a hat in your entry!!

I loved this theme so much, I made two entries..... Here are the images I used:

'Lucy Loo' Mustache

'Lucy Loo' Strawberry Shortcake Lolita

How brilliant are both these images, and both so different!!!!

So, to the bit you are all here for, what I made with them:

Mustache -

I cut the hat and frame wit my Silhouette Cameo.
The image is coloured with Faber-Castell colouring pencils.

I wanted to make my actual project a hat, but I am not sure it has turned out how I imagined it...... I like it though, as its something different!

Strawberry Shortcake Lolita -

The card base, sentiment and layers were cut on my Silhouette Cameo.
The image was coloured using Faber-Castell Colouring Pencils.
The faux stitching was added by using a white Rangers pen.

I would like to enter the above makes into the following challenges -

Inspiration Destination - #21 Always Anything Goes
Die Cutting Divas - #203 Odd Card
Party Time Tuesday - #195 Anything Goes
Through The Craft Room Door Challenge - 17th Feb - 23rd Feb Challenge

I hope that my makes have inspired you to join in with the brilliant challenge at The East Wind Challenge Blog, there are always wonderful The East Wind images to be won!
