The East Wind not only has Blog Challenges, but has Facebook challenges as well.

 

The East Wind digital images are designed to bring out the 'quirkiness' in people.

Unky, the artist an owner of The East Wind', has made a promise to draw new releases for every Monday and Friday.....she has given herself a lot of hard work to meet this promise!!!

 

At The East Wind, we love ALL kind of crafting styles, but the quirkier the better haha

 

The East Wind are also very generous. For fans and supporters who are signed up for The East Wind's news letter, they will get a freebie image with the news letter once a month.....and that freebie happens to be released TODAY!!!! .....how absolutely fabulous is that???

 

February's freebie image is called 'Hart Flower' and is part of the Aurora range, and here she is.......

 

 

Isn't this a gorgeous image that is quite thought provoking when you look at the facial expression.

 

The challenge theme is 'Tainted Love'

 

I used a mix of colours in this make, that I haven't used for a long time.

 

Here is what I have made.......

 

 

I coloured her hair in pinks first, but thought it didn't stand out that much, so added the pale blue. I am really happy with how the image and the card ended up. I used my Silhouette to cut the frame out of kraft card. I have inked the edges of the layers, just to give it an aged look.
