Firstly, welcome back to my blog.
It is time for 'A Step In The Darks' 5th Challenge -
'Anything Goes / Dark Fantasy'.
http://a-step-in-the-darkness.blogspot.co.uk
A Step In The Dark is a Challenge Blog that caters specifically for darker and alternative sides of crafting, so no cheerful cute cards.....yuck!!!
For Challenge #5, we have a wonderful sponsor Aurora Wings

Here are what I have made, I hope you like it -
I chose to use the image 'Dark Gothic Mermaid with Skull'. I picked her because she is dark but also very beautiful and quite a challenge to colour!
I coloured the image with Faber-Castell colouring pencils.
I sprayed the image with mica spray.
The edges are distressed with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
I used pearl card as matting and the main backing paper is cordinations that has been sanded to distress it.
The shapes have been cut using my Silhouette Cameo and edged with Distress Ink.
I hope this has maybe inspired you to try something different and join in with our current challenge. Dark doesn't have to be gruesome!!!
Thank you for all your support
