Just For Fun Octobers Buttons and Bows

Welcome fellow Bloggers, Crafters and most importantly, Friends.... Thank you once again for visiting my blog.

The Just For Fun Challenge Blog is a monthly Challenge Blog. We have two teams, Team A who post their makes on the 1st of the month, and Team B who post their makes on the 16th of the month.
Both teams are there to make projects designed to inspire you to join in with our fun challenges.

As you can tell by the date of my post, I am on Team B, providing mid month inspirations.
This months theme is 'Buttons and Bows' so its a nice easy theme for you. This means, you can make anything, as long as it contains these two items.

As the Challenge Blog name suggests, our Challenges are 'Just for Fun', however we do sometimes have wonderful prizes donated by our very talented Design Team.
This month, we have had a prize donated, and here it is:

My Buttons and Bows Project

What I used

Forever Friends Black and Gold Paper
Paper from my stash
Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Image resized in Serif Craft Artist and coloured with Water Colour Pencils
Matt Gold Mirri Card
White Gel Pen
Sentiment from Card Crafts
Feather from eBay
Wooden button from eBay
Paper Twine from The Works
Skeleton Leaves from eBay
Paper Roses from eBay
Pearl Sprays from a local wholesalers
Flat backed Gems and Pearls from eBay
Spellbinders Nestability Dies
8x8 hunkydory Scalloped Card Blanks

I have started colouring with my Water Colour pencils a lot more. I find them easier to get into smaller places, and they look lovely.

I have tried to use different shapes and patterns. I struggle to put different patterned papers together, however I put my fears aside and just went for it...and I like how it turned out!

I really hope this has inspired you to pop over to the Just For Fun Challenge Blog and join in with our brilliant theme this month.

Thank you once again for your visits and comments, they mean a lot.
