It was pointed out that the 'mad crafters giggles' Facebook group is mainly geared around card makers. It wasn't meant to be like this, it just seems that the group challenges are entered by card crafters.
Due to this, I suggested a week of 'anything goes' for the daily challenges and that we should all try making something other than a card for at least on of the days.
Eager to put into practice what I had suggested, I altered a canvas the first day of 'anything goes'.
I sprayed the canvas with spun sugar re inker, water and mica powder. I then cut a heart out using a large due on pearly paper.
I arranged small sized pink buttons around the edge of the heart. I used an x-cut letter die to cut the word 'Love' and arranged these in the middle of the heart and then added a gorgeous pink glass heart button.
Very simple, but I am proud with my mixed media piece of work.
