Well I today received my Crafters Companion Morehead CD and it is sweet to the point of being sickly sweet :D Just how I like it hahaha
As soon as I got it I ripped off the packaging and had to have a look through the first CD which is the 'peoples' CD. I thought I would leave CD 2 the 'animals' CD till tomorrow as something to look forward too (Yes I am sad) lol
I have to admit, I don't like Crafters Companion CD layouts so opened it in my SERIF Craft Artist Professional program and absolutely loved the images.
Here is my first make from the CD and I have to say that I enjoyed making this card. I know it won't be to every ones taste as not everyone likes cuteness, however it is something different and easy cards to make.
As my regular visitors will know I am a member of two Design Teams:
Crafty-Emblies Who are currently running a 'Flora and Fauna' challenge which is due to end towards the end of the month
CraftyMess Challenge Blog Who are currently running a 'Bird' challenge which is due to finish Friday
I am also lucky enough to be a member of Admin in a great facebook group called CraftyMess who do Daily Challenges as well as fortnightly and Monthly Challenges.
We have introduced the following things to the group as well as other things:
-Selling Craft Items you have made
-Selling unwanted Craft Materials
-Various Events for all Crafting areas. Share ideas and tutorials etc
-Blog Event to share your blog address and when you have posted
The good thing about having these as Events is that the posts don't get lost or clog up the main group wall allowing people to chat and have fun.
It would be lovely if you would like to join us and join in the challenges when you can :D
